We read in Acts 2 that the early church “…enjoyed the favor of all people”. That favor was borne out of individuals in the church GOING OUT into their community to help those in need; using their giftedness and resources to make a difference. That’s what Grace’s vision target, “Engage Our City” is all about. I-HELP, the Car Care Clinic, H.U.R.T. training and Project Homeless Connect are some of the initiatives those in our church family have been involved in. We are able to be engaged and be a blessing because individuals within our church have felt called to invest their abilities and some time in response to needs around us. We are seeing God move in remarkable ways in our community though these kinds of opportunities. And as we engage, he opens doors to share the hope of Christ. We have a vision to expand our mission to reach our community; I hope you will consider how God may use you in this calling.

Being an only child, I always wanted to grow up in a large family. The Lord fulfilled that desire once I became a follower of Christ and discovered the treasure He has given us in the family of Christ; His church.

There are no lone Christians, we are commanded to participate in the body of Christ, His church, it is there that we grow spiritually, learn to love unconditionally, practice the disciplines of being a disciple as well as grow in Christ-likeness. In turn, we receive the blessings of love and encouragement as well as the opportunity to share life's sorrows and joys with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

It is a joy for me, as Church Life Director, to see our Sunday guests become active, committed participants at Grace; some becoming followers of Christ and being baptized. Others having been believers, now growing and using their spiritual gifts to begin personal ministry, training to disciple and invest in the lives of others, discovering the joy of giving, and making an impact for the gospel in their local community and around the world.

It is true that He has "set the lonely in families" (Psalm 68:6)for His good pleasure and for our blessing. I hope you will join us and become a part of the family of Grace, I'm here to assist you in that journey.

I'm a 5th generation cross-cultural worker, raised bi-lingually and bi-culturally, with long-term experience in Spain. I'm also a wife and a mother of two, but I can always find time to visit with anyone who shares a passion to see God's name glorified among the nations--many of which have migrated to our doorstep!

Seeing students grow in their passion for God and wanting to reach their friends for Christ is why I am excited to be the Student Ministries Pastor. My joy is to see students make a decision for Christ and begin to know Him more through discipleship. I look forward to each day that I get to partner with parents and the amazing Student Ministries leaders to develop students who passionately impact their world for Christ.

As Director of Children’s Ministries, I have a passion to see children learn about God and His love for them; and respond to His free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. I also have a passion for children to recognize their significance in His Kingdom because He has prepared good works before the foundation of the world for them to walk in. I have worked in Children’s Ministries for 9 years; and public education for 20 years prior. I have 3 grown children and 8 incredible grandchildren!

Statistics tell us that the most strategic time for reaching people for Christ is the very early years. Come join us in this vast Mission Field!

Every Christian is called to be a steward of what God has given him or her. Everything we have, whether time, talents or treasure should be managed in a way that brings glory to Him. My desire is to equip each attendee to become a "cheerful giver," realizing that we are not just giving to the church, but to the Lord Himself.

ELDERS

There are two groups of Elders serving at Grace. The “Board of Elders” and the “Elders Emeriti.” Both have gone through a study on Biblical Leadership and possess the qualifications described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. Because the Board provides direction and oversight for our church, these men are referred to as the “Governing Elders.”

The Governing Elders are responsible for the governance and oversight of the affairs of the church. They are responsible to ensure that the mission and ministries of our church are consistent with Biblical directives and principles.

Previous members of the Board of Elders form the Elders Emeriti.
